The League didn't fold. It's the exact same as the Championship with same trophy. It was just rebranded.

It doesn't seem especially useful to have a list of winners of the old and new first divisions on the same page. We would do better to have a list of winners of the old first division and the premier league. Same goes for other divisions also. Morwen - Talk 00:19, 25 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
